Перший крок — і вже стільки думок, відкриттів та живого спілкування! А коли вивчення методики навчання англійської мови перетворюється на простір для дискусії, обміну ідеями та власних відкриттів — навчання стає справді захопливим.
Саме так розпочалася наша перша зустріч із Virtual Educator of the U.S. Department of State Virtual English Language Educator Program for the fall semester 2026 — Laura — активно, змістовно й з великою кількістю студентських думок!
Студенти спеціальності А4.01/014.01 Середня освіта. Українська мова і література. Англійська мова груп УМ-31 are happy to share the experience of the first English session with the Virtual Educator, Laura, on the topic “Psychological Factors in Language Learning.”
The session was interactive and student-centred. Students had an opportunity to:
discuss the topic in changing groups, sharing ideas and perspectives with different classmates;
present their own views and understanding of the key psychological factors influencing language learning;
work with key terms and concepts, expanding and activating their professional vocabulary;
listen to a mini-lecture, which helped structure and deepen their understanding of the topic.
The session created a great balance between discussion, collaboration, vocabulary work and theoretical input. Students were encouraged to think critically, express their ideas in English and learn from one another.

The material that she presented was also interesting; we got to discuss a lot in groups, which was very fun, and afterwards think through the core of several cases. Her explanation added a lot more clarity; I couldn’t figure out some of the possible issues in the cases on my own. I’m excited for the next meeting!”
